Freedom of speech can be interpreted on may different levels. While it allows us in the United States to “speak our minds”, gone are the days that we are protected from persecution from doing so. That’s because freedom of speech and freedom of expression are double edged swords.
How can it be acceptable for college professors to warp young minds with half truths?!
How can it be acceptable for students to verbally assault other students who are expressing their opinions?!
How can it be acceptable for a person to be a part of a protest if they’re being paid to be there?!
With all this in mind, we are going to examine the tough questions and try to come up with solid solutions as we ask How Do We Make The 1st Amendment Fit The 21st Century during this episode of WadeSense.
