This episode is the first of a series which were recorded live at the St. Louis Home & Garden Show in collaboration with the Home Builders Association of St. Louis.
We kick off the series with Ellen Viehmann gabbing about what all goes into planning the show. Ellen shares the ins and outs of what it takes to get ready for the 400+ companies moving into exhibit booths for the week; lining up speakers for multiple venues and the logistics that go with all of that.
2017 was the 40th anniversary of the St. Louis Home & Garden Show! A huge sand sculpture is in the show celebrating the anniversary and pictures from every year’s show highlight memories over the 40 years.
Ellen’s favorite tip for show-goers? Wear comfortable shoes! There is a lot of walking.
