The Pirates of the Caribbean was a noble endeavor when it began – an effort to bring the world and realm of the famed Disney ride to cinematic life. In it, they paired Johnny Depp, cutting-edge special effects, and an interest in stoking the flames of movie-goers zeal for on-screen piracy, drunken captains and scenic vistas and slurred sentences. Did they succeed? They did, on all accounts. As the series progressed, were they able to keep the lust for gorgeous women, haunting imagery, and an always-ready-nose to seek out the next step of one Captain Jack Sparrow? Be sure to listen to the entire series of our Pirates of the Caribbean Perspective Reviews, and perhaps – if the winds are right and the moonlit strikes the right cord (and the feedback submission box grows to capacity), we’ll complete our series of Pirates-based Perspective Reviews far’ ya’, Arrrrr!
