Star Trek (2009) – A Perspective Review

On September 8, 1966, the world was introduced to the world of phasers, photon torpedoes, the United Federation of Planets, and the captaincy of one James Tiberius Kirk. Since then, Star Trek has not only become one of the most popular properties worldwide, but has become a piece of language lexicon, cinema history and for many – a veritable way of life. In 2009, Hollywood beamed a new, younger cast into pieces of the original Star Trek universe to build an all-new series of chronicles on the silver screen that truly do pay homage to the original series, but stand boldly on their own. Set phasers for STUNNING, as you lock down the inertial dampeners so as to not be knocked from your seatbelt-less chair as we engage the warp drive during this Perspective Review of STAR TREK (2009), directed by J.J. Abrams. Remember to open hailing frequencies and be sure to tell us what you think!
